Cevheri Bozoglan contributed Turkish localization to the linuxmint/cinnamon-spices-applets repository by creating a new .po file for the Automatic dark/light themes Cinnamon applet. Using gettext-based internationalization and localization workflows, Cevheri enabled Turkish-speaking users to interact with the applet’s user interface and settings in their native language. The work focused on expanding accessibility and user adoption by adding translation assets without modifying the underlying codebase. This contribution demonstrated proficiency in PO file management and localization processes, delivering a targeted feature that addressed the needs of non-English users and improved the inclusivity of the Cinnamon Spices applet ecosystem.
