During August 2025, Ch developed a configurable gRPC stub factory for the spring-projects/spring-grpc repository, focusing on enhancing client configuration flexibility and maintainability. Leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and gRPC, Ch introduced property-based configuration for the default gRPC client stub factory, enabling seamless integration with various reactive paradigms such as Reactor and Kotlin Coroutine. The implementation included comprehensive tests to verify correct binding and usage of different stub factories, as well as validation for error handling with invalid configurations. This work improved the testability and adaptability of gRPC client setups, addressing the need for customizable, robust configuration in reactive Java applications.
