Developed and delivered a new news route and RSS enhancement for the DIYgod/RSSHub repository, focusing on integrating updates from the China Information Security Evaluation Center. The work involved implementing a TypeScript-based web scraper that preserves article titles and emits structured data for each news item, thereby improving the quality and usability of downstream data consumers. Collaborated closely with another contributor to ensure robust integration and maintainability. The enhancement expanded RSSHub’s coverage to include government-related news sources, laying the foundation for future additions. The project demonstrated effective use of API development, TypeScript, and web scraping techniques within a collaborative workflow.
