Worked on the facebook/buck2-prelude repository to deliver a Rust-based compiler wrapper rollout for the fbcode C++ Compiler. The project introduced per-target and per-package control through a dedicated flag, laying the groundwork for future enablement and broader adoption. By enabling the fbcc_rust compiler for all cxx_modules_precompile actions, the work achieved an initial performance improvement in the build process. The implementation focused on build systems and compiler engineering, leveraging Python and Rust to enhance toolchain flexibility. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on infrastructure and performance enhancements for scalable build workflows.
