Worked on the mpv-player/mpv repository to enhance VapourSynth integration by improving backward compatibility on Linux systems. Addressed compatibility issues with older VapourSynth versions by switching the dynamic loader from RTLD_LOCAL to RTLD_GLOBAL, enabling smoother runtime loading across different Linux environments. Subsequently, reverted previous changes related to script library pointer handling and dynamic loading logic to maintain system stability and reduce the risk of incompatibilities. Utilized C programming and system programming skills, focusing on Linux development and video processing. The work emphasized maintainability and cross-version support, ensuring that the filter development remained robust and adaptable for future updates.
