Worked on enhancing metadata management within the ClipboardHealth/core-utils repository by developing the addToMetadataRecord feature for the execution-context module. This addition allowed for augmenting nested metadata records, supporting richer telemetry and improved debugging across services. The implementation included comprehensive unit tests to ensure reliability and introduced a utility function to validate whether a value is a record, further strengthening observability foundations. All changes were documented and integrated through well-aligned pull requests. The work was carried out using TypeScript and Node.js, with a focus on maintainable code and robust testing practices to support better governance and traceability in distributed systems.
