
Developed a proxy-aware endpoint latency measurement feature for the tuist/tuist repository, focusing on improving the accuracy of cache endpoint latency metrics in proxied environments. Enhanced the EndpointLatencyService by integrating a proxy-aware URLSession configuration, ensuring that latency checks reflect real-world network conditions. Addressed issues in the CLI’s cache endpoint latency checks to provide reliable performance metrics, which supports better cache strategy decisions and more dependable CI and test outcomes. The work leveraged Swift for backend development and API integration, resulting in more robust observability and performance monitoring for teams operating in environments with network proxies. No bugs were reported or fixed.
