Worked on the kubearmor/KubeArmor repository to enhance deployment flexibility for GKE Autopilot environments by introducing environment-aware liveness probe configuration within the KubeArmor daemonset. Leveraged DevOps practices and Helm charts, utilizing YAML to implement a new gkeAllowlistVersion flag, which allows for customizable matching-allowlist versions tailored to specific GKE Autopilot requirements. This approach reduced the need for manual tuning and enabled more reliable, environment-specific deployments. The work focused on improving operational reliability and maintainability by making liveness probes and allowlist versions configurable, addressing the unique needs of autopilot environments while streamlining the deployment process for Kubernetes workloads.
