Charlene Lyu refactored the DeltaFormatSharingSourceSuite test suite in the xupefei/delta repository, focusing on improving test readability and organization while preserving all existing streaming verification. She approached the task by restructuring Scala-based test code, ensuring that the suite’s coverage and semantics remained unchanged. This work enhanced maintainability and reduced the risk of regressions, making it easier for new contributors to onboard and for future features to be added. Charlene utilized her expertise in Delta Lake, Spark, and testing best practices to streamline the test suite, laying a foundation for more efficient development and ongoing quality assurance within the project.
