Worked on the Gopeed repository to enhance backend reliability and privacy in the torrent protocol using Go. Addressed a JSON syntax error in the BitTorrent configuration, ensuring accurate parsing and preventing misconfiguration issues that could disrupt service stability. Developed a privacy safeguard that checks a torrent’s private status before allowing external trackers, aligning with privacy standards and reducing the risk of privacy violations. These targeted improvements focused on incremental delivery, clear code quality, and compliance, resulting in a more robust and trustworthy backend. Demonstrated proficiency in Go, backend development, and protocol-level privacy enforcement within a production codebase.
