Chell worked on the AutomatingSciencePipeline/Monorepo project, where they developed a Kubernetes Ingress configuration to make the glados-frontend service reliably accessible to external users. Using DevOps practices and leveraging Kubernetes and Nginx, Chell set up an nginx-ingress resource to route traffic securely to port 3000 on glados-dev.csse.rose-hulman.edu. The implementation included SSL redirection and adjustments to proxy body size, ensuring secure and robust access for development and demonstration purposes. The work focused on infrastructure as code using YAML, and while the scope was limited to a single feature, the solution addressed public accessibility and request handling effectively.
