Worked on the hemilabs/heminetwork repository to deliver a centralized dispatch handling feature aimed at streamlining asynchronous dispatch processing in front-end workflows. The approach involved introducing a handleDispatch function in JavaScript to encapsulate dispatch logic, which reduced code duplication and standardized promise error handling and UI updates across the codebase. Refactoring asynchronous paths improved both reliability and maintainability, while aligning integration tests with the new flow ensured consistency in testing. This work focused on front-end development using JavaScript, resulting in a more robust and future-ready foundation for dispatch-related features without addressing bug fixes during the reported period.
