Developed a Markdown Image Slider Gallery extension for the xkcoding/md repository, enabling horizontal image galleries with captions and ensuring compatibility with WeChat’s rendering requirements. The work involved designing and implementing a custom marked extension in TypeScript to parse specialized gallery syntax, allowing seamless integration of images and captions within Markdown content. Integrated the extension into the content rendering pipeline to maintain consistent output across different platforms. Utilized frontend development skills, including Web Components, CSS, and HTML, to deliver a feature that enhances Markdown’s visual capabilities.
