Worked on the microsoft/DiskANN repository to enhance codebase maintainability by focusing on repository hygiene and configuration management. The primary contribution involved removing an unused JSON benchmark configuration file, which helped reduce configuration drift and simplified future benchmarking and continuous integration processes. This targeted code maintenance did not alter any core algorithms or tests, ensuring stability while lowering ongoing maintenance overhead. By streamlining the repository and eliminating dead configuration, the work established a cleaner baseline for upcoming performance improvements.
