Chenxi contributed to the OpenXiangShan/HBL2 repository by enhancing code quality and test infrastructure within a one-month period. Focusing on maintainability, Chenxi removed debug printf statements from the SinkC Scala code, which reduced log noise and improved code readability. Additionally, Chenxi introduced a new Makefile test target for the L2L3_AME system, streamlining the process for running deterministic and efficient tests. These updates, implemented using Scala and Makefile, addressed the need for cleaner logs and more reliable test setups. While no major bugs were fixed, the work demonstrated a methodical approach to build system configuration and code cleanup.
