Worked on stabilizing Linux 6.6 builds for the poky repository by addressing a kernel compatibility issue in lttng-modules. Focused on backporting and applying a sched_stat_runtime compatibility patch to resolve a compile error introduced by recent kernel changes. Used C and leveraged expertise in build systems and patch management to adjust conditional compilation around the sched_stat_runtime tracepoint, ensuring compatibility across multiple Linux kernel versions. Validated the solution by confirming successful oe-core builds and reducing CI failures in the target environment. This work improved downstream integration and maintained build reliability for kernel development workflows within the zephyrproject-rtos/poky codebase.
