Worked on the drift-labs/dlob-server repository to deliver immutable, tag-driven publishing for Velocity ECR, enabling exact versioning and improving deployment traceability. Implemented a dedicated workflow that publishes tagged versions to ECR, while preserving the existing deployment process to ensure stability during the transition. To reduce risk during environment setup, temporarily disabled production deployment steps in the CI/CD pipeline until the production account and publish role were ready. Leveraged AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, with YAML used for workflow configuration. The work focused on enhancing deployment reliability and safety, addressing both the need for traceable releases and stable production environments.
