Developed and delivered a new Homebrew Cask for ShichiZip, a GUI-based derivative of 7-Zip, within the XcodesOrg/homebrew-cask repository. The work centered on packaging the application for macOS, implementing robust versioning, architecture support for both arm64 and x86_64, and managing macOS-specific dependencies to ensure reliable installation and user accessibility. Emphasis was placed on clear commit traceability and disciplined version management, with all changes tracked in a dedicated commit. Utilized Ruby programming and cask management skills to expand the repository’s offerings, streamline onboarding for macOS users, and enhance distribution quality without introducing new bugs during the period.
