Worked on the AliceO2Group/AliceO2 repository to address time alignment issues in TOF track propagation for PbPb 2024 Monte Carlo simulations. Using C++ and leveraging expertise in data reconstruction and detector simulation, reintroduced the 'dy' parameter into TOF match structures and propagation logic within MatchTOF.cxx. This targeted bug fix unified calibration and production datasets beyond apass1, improving consistency between data and MC analyses. Maintained full commit traceability by coordinating a disciplined revert and reapply workflow, ensuring reproducibility and smoother release readiness. The work reduced systematic uncertainties and stabilized TOF timing across multiple MC datasets for upcoming runs.
In April 2025, delivered a targeted stability improvement for JSON processing in the AliceO2Group/O2DPG repository, addressing asynchronous processing challenges and reinforcing data reliability. The fix reduces potential downtime and improves data integrity in the JSON handling pipeline.
