
During December 2024, Chien Minh Nguyen developed the CalcAmountIn function for the KyberNetwork/kyberswap-dex-lib repository, enabling accurate calculation of input token amounts required to achieve a specific output across multiple liquidity sources. He implemented this feature for both the Kyber-pmm pool simulator and the Hashflow-v3 liquidity source, incorporating inventory and limit checks to prevent over-swapping and robust error handling for insufficient liquidity. Using Go and JavaScript, Chien also designed and executed comprehensive unit and integration tests to validate correctness. His work enhanced trade predictability, reduced slippage risk, and improved liquidity management within decentralized finance backend systems.
