During the month, contributed to the android/platform-samples repository by focusing on stabilizing live update visuals within the SnackbarNotificationManager component. Addressed a color rendering issue by normalizing RGB values to the 0.0-1.0 range for Color.valueOf, specifically targeting pointColor and segmentColor in the buildBaseProgressStyle function. This Kotlin-based solution improved UI consistency and reliability during real-time updates, reducing color glitches and ensuring adherence to the design system. The work demonstrated proficiency in Android development and UI tooling, resulting in a more reliable user experience and fewer color-related support issues, even though no new user-facing features were introduced during this period.
