Contributed to the pyg-team/pytorch_geometric repository by addressing a critical issue in the ModelNet10 dataset integration. Focused on stabilizing data loading for users and downstream tasks, the work involved identifying and fixing a broken URL in the modelnet.py file, which had previously hindered dataset retrieval and reproducibility for experiments and tutorials. Leveraging Python and skills in dataset management and URL handling, the solution restored reliable download capability for the ModelNet10 dataset. This targeted bug fix improved the robustness of the data pipeline, ensuring that users could seamlessly access required datasets for their machine learning workflows and research.
