Worked on the openmrs/openmrs-esm-patient-chart repository to enhance test coverage for lab workflows by developing comprehensive end-to-end tests. Focused on validating the full lifecycle of lab test orders, including modification, discontinuation, and status updates, while ensuring success notifications were properly triggered. Utilized TypeScript and JavaScript with Playwright to implement robust test scenarios, incorporating dedicated setup and teardown of patient and visit data for reliable isolation. This approach enabled more effective regression checks and contributed to safer deployments by reducing the risk of undetected issues in lab order workflows, ultimately improving release quality without introducing new bug fixes during the period.
