During November 2024, Chonageo focused on reinforcing the reliability and security of the zingolabs/zingolib repository’s continuous integration pipeline. They migrated the CI workflow to Ubuntu 22.04 GitHub-hosted runners, addressing stability and predictability issues in the build process. By restoring host dependency access and re-enabling the seccomp unconfined option within the CI container, Chonageo improved both the security posture and the consistency of build environments. Their work leveraged YAML for workflow configuration and utilized skills in CI/CD, containerization, and GitHub Actions. The changes resulted in faster feedback cycles and more dependable builds, reflecting a thoughtful approach to DevOps challenges.
