During May 2025, Chralt worked on the polkadot-js/apps repository, focusing on restoring Zeitgeist connectivity within the Polkadot production relay. By enabling and validating the OnFinality provider, Chralt addressed a critical reliability issue, ensuring uninterrupted data flow and reducing downtime risk for Zeitgeist. The solution involved uncommenting and activating the provider in the production configuration, with changes tracked to a specific commit for traceability. Leveraging skills in configuration management and front-end development, and working primarily with TypeScript, Chralt delivered a targeted bug fix that improved production reliability. The work demonstrated careful debugging and a methodical approach to provider integration.
