Chris Searle developed a feature for the navikt/pensjon-verdande repository that enables exclusion of deceased individuals from adhoc letter distributions. He implemented a user interface control allowing users to toggle this exclusion, and extended backend logic to accept an ekskluderAvdoed parameter, ensuring the preference is applied during letter generation. Using JavaScript, TypeScript, and the Remix framework, Chris delivered an end-to-end solution that filters recipients at the point of order. This work improved data accuracy, enhanced privacy, and supported compliance by reducing the risk of misdirected communications. The feature addressed a clear business need with focused, full-stack engineering.
