Worked on a security-focused infrastructure upgrade for the nhsconnect/national-document-repository-infrastructure repository, delivering an updated Virus Scanner module using Terraform and HCL. The approach centered on applying the latest security patches to enhance cloud storage protection while maintaining Terraform state compatibility and minimizing downtime. All changes were carefully documented to support audit trails and ensure readiness for future upgrades. The work demonstrated practical use of Infrastructure as Code principles, emphasizing security patching and version control best practices. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused effort on feature delivery and robust, maintainable infrastructure improvements within the project.
