Worked on the flatcar/scripts repository to enable NVMe/TCP and ANA multipath support in the Linux kernel, targeting improved storage performance and reliability for NVMe-based backends. The approach involved configuring kernel options to support NVMe/TCP initiators and multipath I/O, followed by thorough validation on amd64 builds using kernel version 6.12.87. Documentation was updated in Markdown to clearly communicate the new feature and its impact. Leveraging skills in Linux, kernel development, and system configuration, the work enhanced Flatcar’s storage capabilities by allowing scalable, high-performance NVMe over Fabrics deployments, with changes tracked and tested for stability in production environments.
