Christina Osumi enhanced the NGWPC/ngen repository by delivering two core CI/CD features focused on release workflow automation and pipeline resilience. She restructured the GitLab CI pipeline to allow SonarQube failures without blocking releases, reducing bottlenecks and improving deployment reliability. Christina introduced a dedicated release stage that automates Docker image tagging and pushing, while refining submodule handling to conditionally checkout branches and leverage commit tags for reproducibility. Her updates to Docker image tagging improved parity between test and release environments. Working primarily with Shell scripting, YAML, and Docker, Christina’s contributions deepened the project’s automation and streamlined the release process.
