Christopher Junk modernized client integration for the SAP/crossplane-provider-btp repository by migrating critical resources, such as service instances and bindings, to the Terraform Plugin Framework External Client. He replaced the default external client with tfpluginfw, addressing asynchronous operation handling and external name synchronization to improve compatibility and stability. This work involved updating dependencies and internal client configurations, enabling more reliable Terraform workflows and simplifying future maintenance. Using Go and leveraging skills in API development and cloud native technologies, Christopher’s focused engineering addressed edge-case provisioning issues and aligned the provider with Terraform expectations, laying a solid foundation for future enhancements and upgrades.
