Worked on stabilizing VTEX platform integration within the vtex-apps/shipping-option-components repository by addressing a critical configuration management issue. Focused on synchronizing the Application ID in the catalog-info.yaml file to align with a new identifier, this update ensured accurate platform recognition and reduced the risk of catalog misidentification during deployments. Leveraged YAML for precise configuration changes, tracking all modifications through version control to support auditability and rollback. The work improved the reliability of downstream storefront configurations across environments, minimized deployment failures related to ID mismatches, and contributed to smoother, more predictable catalog integration processes within the VTEX ecosystem.
