Worked on enhancing deployment reliability for the stackhpc/kolla-ansible repository, focusing on templated environments using Ansible and YAML. Addressed a critical issue where external Ceph Cinder keyrings were not properly imported into libvirt when templates were involved, which previously led to deployment instability in Ceph-backed Cinder stacks. The solution involved updating the Ansible task to use a template lookup, ensuring that templated keyring files are processed correctly and reducing runtime errors. This work improved the maintainability and robustness of cloud infrastructure deployments, aligning with best practices in DevOps and easing future changes to templated configuration management workflows.
