Worked on backend maintenance for the ente-io/ente repository, focusing on improving the reliability of the admin authentication system. Addressed a critical edge-case in the Go-based authentication middleware, ensuring that the first user is correctly recognized as an admin when no other admins exist. This fix stabilized the admin onboarding process and reduced potential access issues during initial setup. By refining the logic for admin whitelisting, the work aimed to lower support requests related to admin login and access outages.
