Worked on the longbridge/gpui-component repository to enhance user experience by implementing vertical scroll propagation in single-line input fields. Addressed a scroll-blocking issue that previously hindered parent container scrolling, particularly in forms and dashboards, by refining event handling logic. The solution preserved existing behaviors for multi-line and horizontal scrolling, ensuring consistency across input types. Leveraged Rust for component development and applied robust front-end techniques to manage scroll boundaries effectively. This focused update improved usability for end users interacting with complex UI layouts, demonstrating a strong grasp of UI development principles and attention to detail in front-end event management and component design.
