Developed backend features and localization infrastructure for the Moonlark repository, focusing on database-driven solutions to enhance data privacy, scalability, and maintainability. Leveraged Python, Alembic, and SQLAlchemy to implement Wakatime integration by introducing user token storage, then streamlined configuration by migrating settings into a centralized user data config. Enhanced localization by adding language display settings and a language key cache, while removing obsolete data tables to reduce technical debt. Applied targeted schema migrations to support new features and ensure smooth deployments. The work emphasized resilient data paths and maintainable architecture, with all changes delivered through robust database management practices.
