During March 2025, Cizzo focused on enhancing the aws-games/cloud-game-development-toolkit by addressing stability and security issues in the Application Load Balancer (ALB) module. He improved deployment reliability by ensuring subnet validation logic only executed when ALB creation was required, preventing unnecessary errors. Additionally, he refined security group rule configurations so that the creation of an external ALB no longer interfered with internal ALB ingress rules, aligning conditional logic for both scenarios. Working primarily with Terraform and HCL, Cizzo applied his expertise in AWS and infrastructure as code to deliver targeted, well-scoped fixes that improved the toolkit’s operational correctness and maintainability.

Monthly work summary for 2025-03 focused on improving ALB stability and security gating in the cloud-game-development-toolkit. Delivered targeted fixes and improved deployment reliability by ensuring ALB-related logic only engages when ALB creation is intended and by correcting security group rule configurations that affect internal vs external ALB behavior.
