Worked on the paradedb/paradedb repository to enhance documentation supporting the pg_search extension, focusing on improving onboarding and reducing startup errors. The approach involved updating the README in Markdown to clearly outline the shared_preload_libraries requirement, ensuring users configure PostgreSQL correctly before running the extension. Collaborated across teams to co-author these updates, which included a concise guide for setting the necessary configuration in pgrx-managed environments. Additionally, defined a validation plan within the documentation to help users verify successful installation and extension creation. This work emphasized maintainability and developer experience, leveraging skills in PostgreSQL, extension development, and technical documentation practices.
