During July 2026, contributed backend engineering work to the FlagTree/flagtree and FlagOpen/FlagGems repositories, focusing on hardware-accelerated feature delivery and integration. Developed support for Metax Triton Language Extensions within FlagTree/flagtree by extending the build system and compiler backend, introducing new IR dialects and tile-based operation utilities, and updating CI pipelines for validation. In FlagOpen/FlagGems, enabled MetaX (MACA) backend integration by adding C++ wrappers with libtriton_jit, CMake configurations, and environment setup scripts, allowing MACA to function as a CUDA-compatible backend. Work leveraged C++, CMake, and Triton, emphasizing robust integration and future extensibility over bug fixing.
