Worked on security hardening within the wolfi-dev/os repository by addressing insecure image registry interactions in CI/CD pipelines. Focused on improving the skopeo test configuration, the developer removed the --insecure-policy flag to ensure only secure image registries are used during automated testing. This change was reflected in the YAML-based configuration files, and the package epoch was incremented from 2 to 3 to accurately represent the update. The work demonstrated attention to secure DevOps practices, leveraging skills in CI/CD configuration and YAML scripting to enhance the reliability and safety of the build process without introducing new features during the period.
