In July 2025, Chris Kim enhanced the kortix-ai/suna repository by developing a prompt-engineering feature that introduced dynamic datetime variables into agent prompts. Using Python and backend development skills, Chris created a dedicated module, custom_prompt.py, to render prompt templates with real-time context such as current date, time, and year. This approach ensured consistent and accurate datetime handling across all prompt files, reducing manual maintenance and improving automation readiness. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the work focused on code quality and maintainability, resulting in more reliable automated prompts and streamlined user interactions within the kortix-ai/suna project.
