During June 2025, Chris Kim established the foundational scaffold for the INNER-CIRCLE-ICD4/onboarding-project, focusing on creating a robust starting point for future development. He set up a Kotlin-based Spring Boot application, configuring essential dependencies such as Web, JPA, JDBC, and H2 to support immediate API work and in-memory testing. By organizing the project structure and build configurations with Gradle, Chris enabled a CI-friendly environment that streamlines onboarding and accelerates feature delivery. While the work was limited to initial setup without bug fixes, it provided a consistent baseline, ensuring that subsequent development could proceed efficiently and with clear technical direction.
