Worked on the cosmos/ibc-go repository to enhance the reliability of cross-chain packet commitments by developing targeted test coverage for packet commitment hash integrity. Focused on ensuring that any modification to packet fields such as data, timeout revision number, timeout revision height, or timeout timestamp results in a corresponding change to the packet commitment hash. This approach reduces the risk of hash mismatches and silent regressions, supporting both current protocol stability and future upgrades. Utilized Go and testing frameworks to implement comprehensive test cases, providing clear traceability to the contributing commit and improving overall regression safety for cross-chain message handling.
