During March 2025, contributed to the grafana/k6-DefinitelyTyped repository by implementing shipping tax support within the Braintree integration. This work involved extending the TransactionRequest type definition in TypeScript to include a shippingTaxAmount field, enabling accurate inclusion of shipping tax in transaction requests. By enhancing the API integration and updating type definitions, the changes improved the accuracy of tax calculations, revenue reporting, and overall checkout reliability for downstream systems. The feature was delivered through a disciplined pull request process, demonstrating attention to collaborative development practices and code quality. The work focused on TypeScript, API integration, and robust type definition management.
