Developed an end-to-end testing capability for the Volto Searchlib block in the eea/volto-searchlib repository, focusing on validating the add and save workflow to strengthen test automation and reduce regression risk. Leveraged Cypress and JavaScript to implement automated tests that verify core user flows, replacing manual quality assurance with reliable, repeatable checks. The work enhanced visibility into end-user interactions and provided guardrails for critical functionality, supporting faster and safer release cycles. By introducing comprehensive end-to-end testing, the project improved regression coverage and ensured that essential features of the Searchlib block functioned as intended throughout ongoing development and deployment.
