Worked on enhancing localization for the OsmAnd-iOS repository, focusing on delivering a German Localization Enhancement that improved accessibility and user experience for German-speaking users. Utilized Swift for iOS development and integrated a Weblate-driven translation workflow to streamline the localization process. Added translations for key terms such as 'centimeter', 'visualization', and 'terrain shadows', increasing localization coverage to 99.8 percent. The approach emphasized scalable translation management and laid the foundation for future expansion of language support. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and establishing a robust process for ongoing localization quality and contribution visibility.
