Worked on the pennlabs/penn-courses repository to deliver a migration of dependency management from Pipenv to uv, targeting faster installation times and more efficient CI/CD workflows. The approach involved updating the Dockerfile, GitHub Actions workflows, and project documentation to ensure seamless integration of the new toolchain. By leveraging Python, Docker, and YAML, the migration improved dependency resolution and installation speed for both development and continuous integration environments. The work focused on establishing a more reliable and streamlined development process, addressing bottlenecks in the previous setup and enabling smoother deployments without introducing new bugs or regressions during the transition period.
