During November 2024, Andrii Kapulko enhanced the wallabag/wallabag repository by delivering comprehensive Ukrainian localization for the link sharing feature and password validation messages. Focusing on internationalization and localization, Andrii utilized YAML and Weblate to achieve 100% translation coverage for Ukrainian UI strings, ensuring consistency and accessibility for Ukrainian-speaking users. The work included refining the password_too_short message to improve user experience and validating the translation workflow for future updates. Although the scope was limited to one feature and did not involve bug fixes, the contribution addressed language barriers and improved the clarity and usability of key interface elements for Ukrainian users.
