Worked on enhancing the stability of UEFI GOP workflows in the microsoft/mu_plus repository by addressing a critical protocol handling issue. Focused on driver development using C, the work involved resolving a bug where the uninstall and install order of the GOP and GopOverride protocols could lead to premature freeing of a handle. By adjusting the protocol uninstall sequence, the changes ensured handle validity throughout the GopOverride installation process, thereby improving reliability and reducing the risk of regressions during UEFI initialization. This targeted fix contributed to more robust protocol management and demonstrated careful attention to low-level system stability and workflow integrity.
