Developed automated pre-commit hooks for the Enterprise-CMCS/demos repository to enhance code quality and security throughout the development workflow. Leveraging DevOps practices and CI/CD principles, the solution integrated large-file detection, main-branch protection, case-conflict detection, and secret scanning using Gitleaks and detect-secrets, all configured through markdown and YAML. Comprehensive installation and usage documentation was provided to streamline onboarding and ensure consistent adoption across the team. This work established a baseline for repository hygiene by preventing problematic commits and reducing the risk of secret leakage, while also improving traceability and enabling faster, more reliable development cycles for future contributors.
