Over a two-month period, contributed to both the TypeTogether/Playpen-Sans and google/oss-fuzz repositories, focusing on reliability and automation in font development and fuzz testing. Improved the Playpen-Sans font build pipeline by fixing a critical FEA syntax error, ensuring stable font generation and reducing production risk through Python scripting and FEA scripting expertise. Later, bootstrapped the Harfrust fuzz-testing project within OSS-Fuzz, establishing containerized infrastructure with Docker and Bash to enable scalable, automated fuzz testing. Work emphasized traceable, verifiable changes and thorough documentation, laying a foundation for robust CI integration and ongoing improvements in both font engineering and software quality assurance.
